Purple rose

They can be grown simply in the ground. However, their purple color is obtained by crossing. This means that different rose colors are mixed together, so that the rose can have different colors, in this case, purple. Getting a purple rose requires the hybridization of different types of roses already found in nature, such as white, pink, or red. The technical term for purple rose hybrid with purple hues is hybrid tea and cardinal hume roses, which have a deeper purple color than hybrid tea.

Let's suppose you want to breed them from existing purple roses from your flower shop and grow your own.

In that case, If you are lucky enough to find fresh purple roses at a flower shop, you can grow them yourself. You will then need to cut the rose at a 45-degree angle by snipping the last inch and a half off the stem. Remove the leaves and dip the end of the stem in the root mixture. Plant them in the shade, ensuring that one-third is above the ground until they are ready for propagation. That way your roses can develop enough roots to replant. This usually takes a year. Plant as many cuttings as you wish. Since not all cuttings get roots, it is always advisable to plant more rose cuttings than you need.

The second way is to grow your purple rose from seed. This is more difficult because garden roses grow slowly from seeds that are not always fertile, even when they grow hips. But if you still want rose seeds, wait until the end of the season to collect hips, then cut them in half and store them until ripe in the fall, then take the seeds out with tweezers. Rinse the seeds in a cup of water and then soak them in 3% peroxide overnight. Once they are dry, use a toothbrush to remove any residual hip pads, because if you don't, they will rot. Finally, plant the purple rose seeds in moist compost. After you plant the rose seeds in moist compost, cover them with plastic bags, and then keep them in the fridge for 10 weeks. Plant some extra seeds in case one or more won't grow.

These were tips on how to grow your purple rose naturally without buying them or making them artificial.
